Accreditation Team Manager (6 months temporary PAYE)

Our client, an international membership organisation, is seeking an Interim Accreditation Scheme Manager to take ownership of the accreditation schemes and lead a small, dedicated team through a critical period of review and improvement.


Key facts:

Start date: January 2026

Assignment length: 6 months

Gross Pay rate (PAYE): £24.73 per hour + £2.98 rolled up holiday pay

Location: Hybrid working – London EC1V - 2 days office, 3 days home

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 0900 - 1700


Overview:

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of accreditation scheme operations, including audits, tendering, and process improvements.

Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, you’ll champion digital enhancements and process optimisation while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across professional bodies and regulatory environments. As a leader, you’ll guide and mentor a small team, fostering accountability and performance without micromanaging, and you’ll play a key role in shaping the organisation’s approach to scheme management during this critical phase.


The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

·       Experience managing accreditation schemes within a regulatory or professional body environment.

·       Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Data Protection and how to apply the legislative framework to internal processes to ensure active compliance and engagement.

·       Managing an audit process through to delivery of outcome and providing support where targets have not been met.

·       Working within a Board structure and delivering secretariat services, working with Chair to prepare agendas, produce minutes, letters and report writing.

·       Strong people management skills with a clear leadership framework (not a micromanager).

·       Proven ability to manage audits and deliver outcomes.

·       Managing and regularly improving processes.

·       Strategic thinker with experience in project management (IT project experience is highly desirable).

·       Excellent communication and organisational skills.
