The Role

RCS is looking for a skilled educator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role and will be a hybrid working pattern with some occasional overnight travel required.

This exciting post will sit at the heart of RCSEng's educational activity and will play a pivotal role within the design and development of educational products and learning offer.

The post-holder will spend majority of their time (ca 85%) on creating content, e-learning offer and developing educational materials. Remaining time will be spent on participating of delivery of educational activities.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience teaching and organising educational activities to meet a variety of different learning needs

A well-rounded understanding of education theory   

Ability to engage learners and encourage contributions  

Experience of producing high quality support materials to aid participant learning

Experience and knowledge of learning methods and assessment feedback

Evidence of influencing skills to achieve a satisfactory outcome, adapting personal style to meet different situations

Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with subject matter experts on educational development
