Health & Safety Environmental (HSE) Manager

The Role

Contract: Part time / Permanent

Location: London

Salary: £25,000 / 17.5 hrs a week (2.5 days a week / 2 days in London office, half day at home)

The Organisation

Our client is a global professional membership body. They are currently undergoing a large transformational restructure to modernise the organisation.

The Opportunity

As the HSE Manager you will be offering Health, Safety, and environmental guidance to the organisation, as well as actively promoting the enhancement of the systems in place. Championing behavioural change and cultural development. Reviewing risk and providing leadership is instrumental to the role as is leading on such initiatives such as Net Zero Carbon 2030.

We are looking for someone with

*Management experience, an educator, supporter, and a collaborator.

*Office/Membership background

*A formal management qualification in Health & Safety and environmental management

*Practical application of auditing and membership of the IIRSM or IOSH at Diploma level, or equivalent

*A NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent

*Demonstrable experience of delivering effective health & Safety management

*Working knowledge of ISO 45001

*Experience of delivering Environmental accreditation ISO 14001

*Writing of QHSE standards/procedures for inclusion within a safety management system
