Events Executive

Permanent Role/ Hybrid Model: attend meetings in London fortnightly

Full time Hours : 36.25 weekly

Salary: £34,000

Our client requires an experienced Events Executive to join their team to deliver top class management of high profile/VIP events while keeping to agreed budgets, in addition to running smaller committee events and liaising with suppliers, speakers and delegates.

Can you demonstrate that you are an experienced Events Executive who has the capability to communicate effectively, who possesses the highest level of attention to detail and has excellent organisational skills?

What you will be doing:

·       Coordinating the publicity and marketing of events

·       Sourcing external venues

·       Contract and supplier negotiation

·       Liaise with venues to ensure all AV/Catering and operation requirements are met

·       Create feedback forms and send out post-event feedback forms

·       Create running orders for Speaker and Chairpersons

·       Maintain the partner and SKS Events Calendar for the coming year

·       Answering delegate queries

·       Communicate with authors, speakers re presentations and audio-visual requirements

·       Communicate with all partners (sponsors, exhibitors, etc.) to ensure complete fulfilment of contractual obligations

·       Ensure online registration is set up correctly to maintain a user-friendly system for delegates

·       Possess a high copywriting level

·       Some events experience working with VIP events and key speakers

·       Event budget management Experience (not essential)

·       Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, touch typing

·       Central Membership Database
