HR Manager – EDI (6 months, PAYE)
Are you passionate about creating inclusive workplaces and driving meaningful change in equity, diversity, and inclusion?
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead and support EDI initiatives for our client - a prestigious professional body.
You will play a key role in shaping and embedding inclusive practices within our client’s HR function. You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop policies, deliver training, and support strategic and operational EDI goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence culture and contribute to a values-driven organisation.
Key facts:
• Contract: Full time, 6 months temporary contract, PAYE
• Location: Hybrid - home-based blended, with 2 days per week working from offices in central London
• Gross Pay rate (PAYE): £27.41 per hour plus holiday pay
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, core hours 1000 - 1600
Key responsibilities of the role include:
· Lead and support EDI programmes and initiatives, including disability confidence schemes and values-based recruitment.
· Develop and implement inclusive HR policies and procedures.
· Produce reports and analysis, including Gender Pay Gap and other diversity metrics.
· Deliver training and briefings on EDI and HR topics.
· Provide expert guidance to managers and staff on EDI matters.
· Conduct equality impact assessments and support values-based interviews.
· Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with employment law.
· Collaborate on HR projects and contribute to strategic planning.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
· Strong knowledge of equality and employment law.
· Proven experience in delivering and embedding EDI initiatives.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Skilled in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Office.
· Experience in coaching and supporting staff on EDI and wellbeing.
