Are you an experienced senior finance professional?

We welcome registrations from senior finance professionals who already have experience working in one/more of the sectors in which we operate, client-wise:

Membership organisations; awarding bodies; regulators; learning providers (private and/or charitable status); charities.

Typical experience and skills we look for include:

• Fully qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience.
• Experience of producing business plans and budgets.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong financial management experience, including sales and purchase ledger, credit control, treasury and month end.
• People management experience.
• Creation / development of a business-partnering culture.
• Experience in preparing monthly financial accounts, year-end statutory accounts and production of annual reports.
• Knowledge of taxation (VAT inc. partial exemption, Corporation Tax, PAYE)
• Hands on experience using, optimising the use of and implementation of new financial accounting software
• Understanding of financial challenges and regulations specific to the charity sector (charities SORP).
• Ability to confidently explain complex finance matters to non-finance colleagues.
• Experience organising own/team workloads to meet deadlines.
