Our client is a global professional membership body. They are currently undergoing a large transformational restructure to modernise the organisation.

The Role

Are you an engagement specialist with programme / project management skills ?

Do you enjoy working alone as well as part of a team ?

This successful post holder will have responsibility for driving membership growth and engagement in addition to managing strategic relationships with stakeholders and external partnerships .This region has between 800/1000 members, and you will represent our client by creating and delivering events that will increase membership growth and retention. This is a fast paced , dynamic, and inclusive environment one with a supportive team culture.

Context

This is a full-time, permanent contract, remote post and will involve travel across the region and occasionally elsewhere in the UK, to engage with members, potential members, and various stakeholders. This region covers : Newcastle upon Tyne , Middlesbrough, Sunderland , Gateshead , Darlington , Hartlepool and Durham . This post holder must be based in the Northeast of England .

Role Requirements:

-          Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

-          Drive member engagement and recruitment activity

-          Develop and deliver calendar of meetings with practices and members

-          Plan , develop and implement a programme of activities with external providers

-          Research your region to develop opportunities to enhance membership

-          Event management support

-          Content creation

-          Promotion of public campaigns and political engagement

-          Admin support

Ideal Candidate

-          Engagement Specialist

-          Project Management Skills

-          Evidence of collaborating effectively with others and working flexibly to support the team

-          Demonstrable experience in senior stakeholder relationship engagement

-          Clean UK driving license and access to a car
